Congratulations Team Beijing Sailing !!!

Another outstanding podium finish for Team BSC at the 5th China Cup International Regatta 2011! They have outwitted the other 27 One-Design Beneteau 40.7s on the waters of Daya Bay. This is a historical moment for China as Team BSC is the first Chinese entry to have won the China Cup International Regatta - and the trophy gets to stay in China for the first time.

The Dax Handle is the only one of the winch handles that I have that I use on Satisfaction.

Your handle is MY favorite- I only let the "good" crew use the Dax.

Weekend was great, DaxOneTouch was even better. So easy! My 13yr old marveled at how easy compared to another locking model

Light and Easy To Use
Our Dax OneTouch is lightweight and easy to use. Its longer length allows easier grinding with less effort. It's far more efficient than having to mess with extracting the winch handle using both hands!

A Breakthrough Piece of Sailing Hardware
After playing with the lock/unlock mechanism for a minute (clicking it is habit forming), I was convinced that Steiner had invented a breakthrough piece of sailing hardware. Like many sailors, I have been frustrated for years with the conventional locking mechanism that usually sticks and often needs two hands to operate. As a racing sailor, nothing is worse than sailing along on port tack with a sticky winch handle in the jibsheet winch, unable to cast off the sheet and tack!
My crew aboard our Express 37 Lora Ann loves the handle. In September 2006 we raced to Bermuda with the OneTouch handles, and in September 2006 we were one of only three boats to complete the Vineyard Race which included a 130 mile beat into 35-60 knot winds. In July 2007 I took two handles with me on the Transpac Race and left them as house gifts with the owner.
It is great to see a sailor with an idea dedicate so much time and effort and develop a truly useful piece of equipment that adds to the fun of sailing, racing performance and safety.

A Favorite Handle of Both Sailors and Power Boaters On My Crew
I own a 34 foot C&C (Scotch Flyer) and have been sailing longer than I care to admit. After an old handle went overboard, I bought a Dax OneTouch which has proven to be an excellent product. I race and cruise (mostly race) and the Dax OneTouch is such a favorite handle of both sailors and power boaters on my crew, I purchased a second.
In the heat of a race, where every second counts, the Dax One Touch is lightweight and its ease of placement and release could be the difference between win, place or show.

The Best Winch Hanldle
The Dax One Touch winch handle is the best winch handle my crew and I have ever used.
We are active racers and have used many winch handles in the past including metal, floating and carbon handles. The Dax OneTouch's locking mechanism is much easier to release than any of the others and the handle is light but strong. It's an exceptional product.

Amazingly Convenient
I have recently purchased one from my rigger in Stamford, CT. Very nice, smooth and amazingly convenient.
I had already looked at the metal Lewmar version but I decided that the extra dimensions of the composite version felt better in my grip. This version also communicated a more reliable release my hand. There is no second guessing, you can trust it to stay in and to let go when called upon. A winner, finally a new mouse trap !!

Absolutely Thrilled with the Dax handle
I am the owner of a Swan 36 and I recently purchased the Dax One Touch for use on my boat. I race and cruise regularly and am absolutely thrilled with the Dax handle.
I recently had the opportunity to test it in gusts over 44 knots and it performed flawlessly. I love the ease by which you can grab and release it from the winch without having to awkwardly fumble with thumb releases and the like - just squeeze the handle and out it comes. Why didn't someone think of this before now?
It’s an awesome product I recommend without hesitation.

From 'Sails Rigging' one of our Facebook friends:
I just returned from the St. Pete Yacht Club's race to Isla Mujeres Mx and touted your winch handles all the way. Brought one with me and replaced it in the winch one night and it stayed in use throughout the race and until the boat returned home!
"We race with these wonderful handles! Why? Ever have to delay a tack because the darn winch handle will NOT release from the winch? THAT'S WHY! This great design ALWAYS releases when you want and won't when you don't! What's more is they are light!! Even better - they don't deflect when you are giving them all you got!

.... and, we don't ALWAYS have wind ... This was taken July 27, 2011 Long Island Sound. Was the Weds night race series ... except the race was abandoned for obvious reasons. We all met up early for pizza that night. Beautiful pic.
